★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One thing for sure, the food here is always fresh simply because the place is always choc-a-block. There is always a steady stream of people eating here from 11am to 3pm every day. The food is constantly replenished. They serve traditional Malay fare and with many varieties. Their specialty is grilled fish, seafood and grilled chicken. Very reasonable price too. I had a huge grilled mackerel (kembung), 2 types of vegetables and rice and the meal only cost me RM8.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hidden mom and pop warung for fresh and unique prep for ikan bakar. Been going to this shop since high school. But the item sells fast. So be there at 11 or you get non. Seriously. It somewhat slow down since the pandamic but still sells. Not fancy shop so non instagramable place. But for the price, will send your behind home happy.

You will be amazed with their food quality and generosity. Sambal kicap with overflowing bawang cili and sambal balado merah are free here. And they're really good. You get kampung style dishes like pucuk ubi, perut, kulit sapi, rebung in lomak cili api. Crispy fish and chicken in sambal balado. Not to mention their awesome grilled fishes from keli to talapia. Sometimes there's sotong bakar too. Bakar style without sambal which I love. Not laden with too much spice, you get to taste the fish instead of MSG ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has many choices of malay or kampung dishes.. delicious..good ikan bakar, tilapia..also has air kelapa ori..but parking is quite hard on peak hour... price is reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for tunjang, tembusu, and other pute minang's food, the place doesn't have it. But there are other minang local fusion food. Good choice of grilled stuff. Fair price. But parking is bad. Do come early.
