They are severely understaffed. Only had two people handling orders, preparing the food and manning the cashier counter today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rather than getting disappointed by so called "Viral" Restos (ie tourist traps) in the area, why not go to this humble lil Indian Resto. You wont regret it. My wife and I were at our wits end on good food in the area (despite the rave reviews of these "viral" restos ) but we were so glad we chanced upon this resto. We had breakfast there consisting of masala thosai , rawa thosai, and vadai. I can honestly say they are among the best Iv had. The potatoes in the masala thosai are moist and soft. While the chutney taste freshly made and has oodles of grated coconut in it (unlike some restos ). Its also very flavorful , perfect with vadai too. Love the decorative plants outside, it felt peaceful. We sat there , sipping teh tarik. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this little place after hearing that this 2nd family generation restaurant was so far running for over 30 years and were known for their presentation of their Indian food on traditional banana leaves. Ordering wasn’t a problem. Staff were especially friendly since I was foreign and spoke good english. I was explained on the different dishes and was recommended a few. I ended up trying a little of everything. The food was quite tasty and the cultural atmosphere really emphasised the positive experience. This would be another lunch I’ll have to come back and try again. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed with food and service...the curries were too salty...I've ordered idli and it wasn't fully cooked and tasted horrible...I don't know how they run their business like this...don't waste your money going to this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm was totally disappointed with the food they served.The price is unreasonable bcz they don't HV service facilities at all.U HV to self served.If anyone planning to visit to this restaurant don't make it.?The food is not good n they don't even HV staff n waiters.So better Try the restaurant at the corner.I think the foods r much better than here .??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Indian food in PD. Run by a family. Food taste almost like home cooking. Price is also reasonable. Their Mutton varuval is good as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think people going to stop eating at Indian shop in future because the prices of food getting increased day by day. One plate of rice,one vegetable, and two pieces of chicken (small size) were RM 10 and one more plate with one piece of chicken(small size), rice and one vegetable were RM 9. I don’t know how they are counting for each plate. The same thing if we are going to take next time the sure the price must be different not less sure will be more.
