★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quintessential Terengganuese experience, Nizam Celup Tepung is definitely a place to look out for if you want to eat the famous ikan or sotong celup tepung.
This eatery serves deep-fried battered cuttlefish, prawns, and fish. From my experience, the cuttlefish was cut quite thick but it was so good. I loved the batter and the chilli dipping sauce. I didn't prefer the fish that much though. A plate of cuttlefish was about RM20. You can also get other staples in a typical Terengganuese seaside eatery such as fresh coconut drink, coconut shake, ABC, or keropok lekor as well.
The place is located just by the beach. The seafront location of it is undoubtedly another draw to this eatery. What's better than feasting on your food while looking at the blue sea and being cooled by the breeze?
There is an ample parking at the back of the restaurant, although the place can be crowded during the school holidays or weekends.
