★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I won't even want to give any star for this nursing home. Firstly when we went to enquire, Dr Sara said that they will station a caregiver in every room. As mum was staying in a single room, she said there will be a caregiver with her all the time except when we visit. But turned out my mum was always left alone. Her single room was upstairs, so most of the time there is nobody around that area. Mum was immobile, can't even turn herself, even if she rang her bell also most of the time no one attended to her. When she first went there, the caregiver told her NOT to ring the bell at night and she went back to her quarter to sleep even though she was supposed to accompany her. She even told my mum if she needed help to call her mobile phone. My mum was immobile, her hands were very weak, if there's emergency, by the time she reached the phone, she would have not survived. The place was very dirty as well. Everyone wear shoes inside. You smell very nice spices thinking they provide good food but unfortunately mum only got egg and veg with curry gravy most of the days. The one thing that put me off was Dr Sara mentioned if we paid deposit of RM500 before certain date, we could secure the promotional rate. But she didn't honor that rate when we confirmed my mum's placement there, with the excuse that promotion has expired. When we argued with her, she said we have misunderstood. My mum passed away less than 3 months after staying with them.
