★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called in today for an appointment following up on my yearly check up and was given an abrupt unsatisfactory answer by a so called manager name Izuan (not sure of the spelling) saying that I have to pay double the amount as I had missed last year's appointment due to the rising cases of COVID hence I was unable to attend. Extremely disappointed with his altitude who has no empathy at all and refuse to listen any explanation.

I approached them without any idea in mind and the manager Izwan was so patient to explain and plan for me as i wanted to do check up and procedure within one day itself. all my post procedure follow ups were easy to arrange and smooth. Love the optimax team!! <3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is for the Optimax Shah Alam branch. I first visited their clinic on 13 April 2022. I went in knowing I had to get cataract surgery for both of my eyes. First impression was just a "normal" looking clinic. I was put through a battery of eye tests & then met up with Dr Zainura for consultation. She's such a gentle Dr and taking the time to explain to me what the cataract surgery is all about. I then decided to do the ops & the 1st ops was scheduled on 19 April & the 2nd one on 26 April. From the word go, the staff in the clinic has been just an amazing team to work with to reply to my queries, my concerns & all other arrangements. Usually through Whatsapp but sometimes phone calls. They all have been so so helpful. Even on the ops days, the operating team (Dr + 3 others) have been careful, gentle & caring. I wrote a short thank you message to the team which went like:
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Zai & the Shah Alam team on your excellent work from doing my cataract surgery to attending to me when I visit the clinic to responding to all my Whatsapp messages. Your customer service is amazing. All of you have been so helpful & caring towards me. I've never experienced this level of attention as a patient before. I consider it a privilege to have been cared by your team. Keep up the good work & Selamat Hari Raya to all the Muslims & happy holidays to the rest."
If you need eye care done, this is the branch you should go to. I'm super satisfied with their service. They went above & beyond my expectations. Again to the Optimax Shah Alam team, a big THANK YOU.
