★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time i've try to eat "belangkas" i don't know how to describe the taste...for me...maybe the last time i'll ever eat...for the other menus..yes of course i enjoy the meals...and the place is very cool....like kampung2 style..so nice....for those who's like the kampung2 style to...relex n enjoy the foods u should try this place..peacefull...by the time i reached this place..so grreny with the paddy fields ...hope to come here .again....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ahhhh regretted coming without reading the reviews. Place wasn't that packed but tables are all dirty with the plates of the previous customers. Ordered the common dishes, yet still had to wait forever. Belangkas and mentarang were both not available. Do not come with high expectations. Do not come if you are hungry. You have been warned.
Post meal edit:
Sigh. The one hour wait wasn't worth it. Sotong sumbat telur belangkas which was rm13 was the so small, we almost fainted. Taste wise, okay, but not worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sedap baq ang, shellout, ive tried its sotong sumbat telur belangkas, a....wow!! but once it left the kitchen to ur table, a group of flies accompany these menu, average 3.8 star for sup belut (eels soup), 4.3 star ketam kari chili fire, quite best khailan ikan masin, n most precious moment, burping while sun sets, open 11am-11.59pm sat/sun, 4.30pm-11.59pm monday to friyaaaaay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first ever experience eating belangkas (horse shoe crab) and it was fantastic. I chose to have Belangkas Sambal Pecah Telur and it was deliciously cooked to perfection. The portion was big and generous. The view from the cafe was very calming, scenearic and super peaceful with paddy field across the road. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cafe to those who would like to taste delicious belangkas dish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely food and friendly service. Recommend calling first to book and check what's available from the menu. Tried horseshoe crab two ways - grilled and masak lemak. Fantastic! The sotong sumbat is awesome, not to forget their kerabu. Eel cooked in sambal is better than my expectation. Will definitely go again. Thank you to Puan Adibah for being a lovely host.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite the distance, a breathtaking view awaits you during your journey getting there. Wide beautiful green fields and sungai besar 'venice' on your sides. Cafe owner is warm and accomodating. Better call for confirmation on the menu availability as some are really depend on the season i.e. eel, fresh water prawn, mentarang, etc. After all food is superb, generous portion and very reasonable price. All belangkas (horseshoe crab) meals are incredible, be it grill, gulai lemak, kerabu, stuffed squid and more! Serenity area. Worth a try ! ???
