★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying out the Yong Tau Foo here, parking is limited so we had to eat here though we intended to try some other shop. But we weren't disappointed because the food was good and the pieces were big. The staff was very helpful in helping us park the car and with a disabled man we had with us. Enjoyed the meal here overall. Would try out more dishes here next time.

due to next door was crowded, we decided give this shop a try.
food was horrible and below par.
fried stuff was prepared earlier and it was serve very quickly and it was not crunchy at all.
yes the shop where the boss show off his pic with Hishamuddin, what is the connection?
the fish paste was sticky, like starch, chilli sauce like some factory variant of kampung koh sauce.
i just had a bad meal, totally overrated!
There is plenty of nice YTH, this is the last on list.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rm1.80 per pc. Next door Foong Foong was closed (Tues), so decided to try this instead. Food came very quick, suspect that it’s been pre fried, but the food was still fairly hot. None too greasy, so was quite enjoyable. Just warm enough to eat immediately. Soup given was nice and umami, could use a bit of veg in it though.
Ordering was a bit weird, the lady kept muttering and I can’t hear clearly ( maybe because of the mask). Asked for ’leong sui’ drink, offered barley ginkgo, ordered a glass of it cold, then told it’s served as a dessert so comes in a bowl. In the end I actually got another ‘leong sui’ which was sugarcane. Could see that she was a bit annoyed, but I’m annoyed as well. Asked for herbal tea but given dessert?

Nice and big of every piece, worth every penny.
At the moment no dine in, but it's an open air environment and it's quite cooling.
The vinegar pork knuckle is recommended too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passed by the yong tau Foo street this afternoon, only this shop in the middle has parking. So we parked and ordered. Parking extremely hard to come by.
YTF - big sized! Yummy and fresh! Loved the the thick gravy and amount of meat they stuff inside the YTF.
They offered 3 different sauces for you .. the usual dark sweet sauce, the chilli sauce and my personal favourite- the red savoury sauce with a hint of fermented bean curd.
Braised yam & pork belly- quintessential Hakka dish! My favourite .. and they cooked it to perfection. Not too salty .. yam was soft and the belly fat melts in your mouth.
Minus 1 star for cleanliness .. the plates were dirty but they gave hot water to clean the utensils. So it’s all good. They even have tissue box for each table.
18 ytf, braised yam & pork belly, 4 iced Chinese tea for RM57. Not exactly cheap for 2 person but it sure was satisfying.
Will return to try their 8 treasure chicken. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We all heard of the famous Ampang Yong Tau Foo but there are three restaurants in a row literally serving the same things - our family found that this restaurant serves deliciously good Yong Tau Foo which is fresh and with chunkier meat filling, what makes them really special is their thick gravy and bean and chilly sauces. In addition they also serve excellent topnotch salt-baked chicken too. Highly recommended!
