★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When we arrived, the otak2 is finished and the person incharged was rude.....wont come here anymore.......after that i search for another otak2, and i go to buy otak2 JB....the service is good and i find out the taste also better...thank God....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is an Otak-Otak factory where they roll a mix of fish and herbs into a the leaf of Nipah banana and close it up with a toothpick. Then local people will buy from them and sell it on the street called a stall. They barbeque it like sate (meat on a stick) and is a very popular snack loved by locals and foreigners. I visited the factory to meet the owner where we (my friend's farm supplies the banana leaf) and mix it with their fish or chicken paste (there are many types of fillings with different types of fish, meat and herbs) and create otak-otak. So we do an exchange of products and instead of paying for the banana leaf they will supply us with otak-otak and we find new stalls for them so is a win-win for all parties. They produce already 100k sticks per day so we do an exchange on quantity based on an agreed price per Kg CA sticks and everybody is happy. As I eat their otak-otak often I am looking into branding the otak-otak for them and help poor people to set up new stalls in the street and make a living. Many people have lost their jobs in Malaysia due to Covid-19 and looking for a way to earn money. By training them myself to maintain high standards in hygene and quality and freshness of these food we can attract expats to buy the local snacks prepared on the streets and enjoy living in Malaysia Malaysian style.
