★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a camp (china brand) few months ago. few things. In KL same model, the derailleur is R7000, from OZE its R5800 although both advertise same price. then there is the rim tape. rim comes with many holes inside the rim and the tape too narrow, the sharp edges of the hole caused many puncture until i change into a 29" MTB rim tape. the right hand brake control the rear, while the shifting is for the front. then few weeks ago brought for service in penang. seems that the front derailleur is capable of having 4 position with proper adjustment that i didnt have when bought. then during service, found that the headset has no grease at all, causing the creaking noise.
i expected issues for a cheap china bike. but all those issue can be addressed if proper bike check is carried out, and i would appreciate it if they gave me the options if i want to change or upgrade with cost, rather than closing the deal fast. the most i cannot accept is the rim tape and headset no grease. out from the box the rear tube alraedy punctured and when changing the tube, there are looks in their face which at that time i didnt suspect much. and no greasing the headset?

Today is the second time I went back for service for the bicycle that I bought there 2 years ago. Though it's just a minor service, the owner was kind enough to do it for free of charge.
Update: (3 years after buying my road bike) My Shimano Ultegra left shifter jammed. While other shops gave up on repair, this shop managed to fix the shifter. I'm very grateful for the service because if Albert didn't fix it, I'd have to fork out 1000 ringgit just to replace the shifter. If I can give more stars for the rating, I will. I'm a very satisfied customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a Staccato Supernova 650B (Korean brand MTB, made in China) for MYR700. Not enough cash with me, so paid MYR500 in cash, MYR200 in card. Then, owner gave me a ride back home using his own car, with the bicycle at the back. Satisfied with the bicycle so far, although front wheel looks a little wobbly, and the disc brake is touching the brake pads the whole time, but as expected of a bicycle in that price range. Owner is friendly. They do have cheaper, heavier choices from China, for about MYR300. Road bikes are also available for normal price range of around MYR3k ~ MYR4k.
