★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a beach here. Called pantai leman by the locals. It's not a pretty beach, but the view of the sea during sunset can be really good. A hot place for young couples to satisfy their urges. There's a lot of used condoms, panties along the beach. Especially at the secluded area that can only be accessed by foot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location for watching sun setting. Padang Garam is located between Kota Kuala Kedah - Marina-Kuala Perlis route.
Usually the banks were crowded with the young either couple or in groups.
There are several nice eating places along the banks where you can enjoy nice evening breeze and beautiful sunset.
Besides Thai cusines, Western menu are also available as well as local delicacies.
If you choose to try local curry, Restoran Ikan Temenong is located not far from the small fishing jetty. You are able to select fresh fish and have it cooked.
During weekends and public holidays, the road from Telok Pasai Bridge is usually congested both directions. Drivers are advised to adhere safety precautions at all times. Parking space is another problem as there is no specific parking areas gezetted by the local authority.
