★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is beautiful and there's a monument there for the fallen soldiers who fought during that time written in English, Chinese , jawi and Hindi. The place is closed but I've seen some people entering the compound via a small way via the side gate. Do come and visit if you like historical sites.
