β β β β β Simple local Indian food, served by friendly locals. Their breakfast is very good, made hot and fresh. Had their dum chicken biryani and I can say it is one of the best I have had. Tried many dum biryanis in KL and other places, but the one from this restaurant is spot on. A real dum biryani, made the authentic way. It is a hidden gem in a town.

β β β β β My family & I went to Palani Restaurant for tea at about 5pm. We ordered 'teh halia, bru coffee & mee goreng'. The bill amounted to RM14.50, added with 2 ice-cream. My hubby paid using one RM20 note, four Rm1 & RM0.50sen while talking to the cashier. My hubby was commenting on food & drink served & he totally forgot about the balance RM10 & walked towards the car which was parked right infront of the restaurant. Within seconds, he went back to get his balance, the cashier denied by saying my hubby only paid RM10 as a big note. We didn't want to make a scene, so we left. The problem is that there's no honesty! It was very disappointing to come across such person who can behave cheap for such an amount. If this cashier/worker continues to behave like this, the owner may lose his/her customer. Beware of the staff!
