Attractive and clean place. Good facilities. There are many eateries. Suitable for leisure for the whole family.

The new food complex has already opened for business.. Varieties of food available such nasi ayam bakar, laksa, curry noodles etc as well as beverages.. There's also prayer rooms for both male and female. Nice toilets including for disabled person (free of charge).. There is also ample parking lots and spaces to camp or just to have a picnic with your family.. No entrance fees..

Beautiful scene here, not really crowded. You can go down to the beach if low tide. Can see some small red crab and hermit crab

Went there last month with family & friends. This is NOT an all white & sandy beach BUT itz a nice place to have picnic/camp & enjoy the high/low tide. This is a good place to set up a day camp, cook, catch crabs & mudskippers. Also got bamboo clam/pepahat far out the beach when itz low tide. Note that the water is not pristine clear or super clean. Quite similar to PD. The sand also has a layer of black mud underneath & doesn't smell great. The whole area also has some bakau/mangrove growing sporadically with roots which may not be pleasant to step on. So make sure you bring some proper footwear to prevent feet from getting hurt. Itz very interesting to watch how the tides changes because the land is pretty flat & water recede slowly revealing the vast flat beach & armies of crabs coming out to enjoy the sun. Muskippers and other sea life also make for some interesting finds there if you are observant & like to explore out to the open sea. If you are not too particular about the water condition, the not so white sand, the mud, and u like to picnic & do camping, this is a very good place as itz not crowded at all. The beach is actually quite wide & long, so, families can spread out if too many ppl. We camped further away from the main complex area where the "jetty" is. Further away means no crowd. But that also means we have to walk far to get to the toilets. The biggest problem with this place is the sand flies. They bite like mosquitoes but the itchiness gets worse & stay for days or weeks. So, do bring mozzy/insect repellent & spray all over before u enter the beach. The lighting up eggs paper tray also helps to keep these flies away.
