★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Going to Malaysia, night markets were a must. So with my family and cousins I ventured to the Pasar Malam in Kuala Lumpur.
It was huge, with a ton of stands. Lots of street food, filled with grease and goodness. Note that as a night market your going to get the full experience. Tons of crowds, very few places to sit, vendors chanting and beckoning you to try their food.
The food options have a heavy Chinese and Taiwanese slant. You'll find things like Fried Chicken, Green Onion Pancakes and Chinese Desserts. Note that you probably won't find a place to sit down and eat, but honestly your going to the night market to walk around and eat. Its not a restaurant.
The only qualm I had was that a lot of vendors seemed to repeat the same items. I was told by my cousins who lived in the area that even though they served the same things, you just have to know which vendors were the better tasting. Hard if your a tourist but if you are lucky enough to go with some locals, they can probably help you find the right place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is another night market that I visit in Seri Petaling. This one is smaller but u can find food, snack, vegetables, fish and etc here.
Open on Friday evening about 5pm onwards.
Yesterday went nearby to collect something and visited this pasar malam.
Bought char kuih from this uncle, delicious as with wok hee, small RM5.50, big RM6.50 with Ipoh taugeh, my favourite.
Bought nyonya fried chicken + meehoon, rm8. The fried shrimps are crispy and delicious. Added on meehoon just nice.
First stall is selling fried meehoon, fried chicken n kuih muih. Used to buy fried siew mai from this stall. Did not take photo of it.
The soya bean and tau fufa stall also nice. Long queue if u go late. But just wait for awhile will be your turn. Did not take photo of it.
