★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located away from the main road within a kampung setting promises those who are looking for some privacy and experience living within a kampung setting a memorable experience! As it is slightly further from Kota Bharu, you will have to drive to reach this place. Food options are limited but there is one just within the compound called "makcik" - a local lady who would be able to cook for you. Friendly staffs, clean and a calm place for a quiet holiday. If you expect nightlife, this is not the place ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay. You stay in a local village just outside Kota Baru on a little resort. If you want you can eat your diner at the neighbours, who cook for the guests on request.
From the resort you can take a great bicycle tour, which crosses the river by boat and passes throug kampungs. On the tour you also pass the old city of Kota Baru.
We enjoyed the stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pasir Belanda is run by lovely Cikgu mustafa and his wife. We felt very welcomed by them and made to feel at home in their beautiful compound.
My husband and I stayed at the resort for one night and we rented bicycles from them. We were given a map and saw some beautiful sights of the kampungs and stopped at various restaurants and the Wau Making Workshop nearby.
Upon finding out that we were interested in the Nam Nam fruits Cikgu picked right from his tree in the garden, he gave us some fruits take back to KL along with a little plant. He also gave us a lift to the airport when there was a problem with our grab driver.
5 stars for Pasir Belanda! We hope to come back soon to learn some Kelantanese cooking with the resort :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for two nights (3rd/4th June) . Very warm welcome from cikgu mustafa And lady of the resort. Very nice and calm place for a traditional Malay kampung loving experience. Would definitely come back !!!
