The environment is peaceful and great for a walk. We saw 2 hippos and porcupines. Unfortunately the place is very rundown and in need of repairs.

Very large area to visit but a bit disappointing due to lack of activity although it was a weekday. Hardly any visitors but after visiting, i wouldn't recommend unless really got nothing to do or happen to be in the area. Although clean, the whole place is run down n drinks are not even sold. The toilets are clean but did not have any water. Can't even find a drink vending machine as the canteen or cafe was closed. No flyers to guide visitors. We just wandered around n appreciate to see the 2 hippos n the crocs in their separate lakes. Other than that, nothing much to see. Reflects poorly on the management.

Poor maintenance...not much animals; 4 hippos,65 huge crocodiles, 10 porcupines...didnt get to see the horses and pelicans.

If you are coming for the animal feeding shows for hippo and crocodile, please expect there might be crowded. Other than that, it is huge area to explore for picnic, circling, morning evening walk...

Exceed my expectation (wasnt expecting much?). Had a fun day walking around the wetland. Saw a hippo, a tortoise, a horse & several crocodiles. We wanted to go to the tower but it was under repair. Hope they repair what need to be repaired soon. You can either park near the entrance & walk around or just drive around the compound. Was a bit worried when i saw the crocodile warning signs.

This is the free entry park - directly accessible from Dengkil, to see the wetlands and animals such as hippopotamus, crocodiles, horses, tortoises, hedgehogs and a peacock. You have the choice of driving around in your vehicle or bring your own bicycle (there was no bicycle rental in operation when we were there). In its early days, the man made buildings and chalets must have been pristine but since then, after years of neglect, these dwellings are not occupied and in some places, roof tiles are missing which is a shame. At least the animals are kept in what looks like decent physical condition. If you're feeling adventurous, there's some off road tracks that take you into the heart of the wetlands and camping sites but you're probably not encouraged to do that in your own vehicle - try riding your bike, because if you make it all the way to the end, you will arrive at the Gamuda showhouse-cum-future-waterpark but the guard may not let you pass. Gamuda does operate paid tours into this area but you will need to head to their Discovery centre via the Elite Highway.

I was here last weekend. Its nice to know that Selangor has this kind of hidden gems. But unfortunately, this place has so much potential if they have a fund to rebuild their chalet and resort. My kids enjoy their time here as they can see crocodiles with their own two eyes ? they also got hippos and hedgehogs. You can drive your own car or pick up truck by the resort.

Albeit some visitors have not given high ratings, it depends on your activity here. This is a great place to bring children for cycling as it's generally flat plus the roads loop back to the start. Kids can stop at the different animal stations. Tip : there a path not many people know about. Go behind the visitors center and look for the sign Lake typha. There is a trail that you can walk or cycle near the lakes. It ends at a broken bridge though still interesting to explore ?
