I request and paid for their curtain rail installation service with my own bracket, curtain rail and all the accessories. They charged me RM80 for installing only the 1 * curtain rail. Well, I think that’s fair enough even though my house is at the same residency area because on site service. I have mark down all the spot where the bracket need to install for their easy & quick work.
Here is my honest review:
1) The worker arrive approx 40 minutes later than appointment time.
2) The worker broken my door bell cover and not apologize to me.
3) The worker not bringing the stair and need to borrow mine. Luckily I have stair for him.
4) I have my own accessories (wall plug and screw) which is stronger, thickener and longer but the worker insist to use his own screw which is much shorter and unsynchronized look. I feel unsafe and request to use mine but he refused due to shorter screw is easier work for him.
5) He claimed that he don’t have the drill head which match the size of my wall plugs. i told him he can use my drill and I have all the sizes of drill head. Again he said is troublesome and refuse to do it. End up my bracket is install with various type of screws and wall plugs from his tool box. I still can’t accept this!
6) The workmanship is terrible, some screw is not well fasten on the bracket. ? He keep saying it is very safe even I emphasizing my curtain is almost 10kg weight.
7) After install the bracket, I take out my new curtain rail and want to put it on the bracket. But the worker said I not yet prepared the curtain rail (to insert rollers into the rail) and there is extra work. He need to CHARGE me another RM20-30 for that. It is totally ridiculous!
8) I am very disappointing with his attitude and service and then I said in this case I rather to do it myself due to it need time to insert the roller into curtain rail. He left immediately without installing the curtain rail into the bracket for me. I paid for “installing curtain rail” but end up i get the service for only “installing the bracket”.
9) End up I need put on the curtain rail into the bracket by myself.
In short, highly not recommended!
