Covers a whole stretch of road in Kuah, thid night market features a myriad of local night market food. A good place to visit at night and try out some of the lesser common overseas. Prices are all very affordable but quality differs. Some stalls are more popular and delicious thus recommend to walk through the whole night market first before choosing.

Attention to all Food hunters and travellers!!! This is a highly recommended night market in Langkawi as it has a much cleaner ,longer trail of stalls to try and see . Night markets are a great way to explore Malaysian food and try local specialty too,for example here in Kuah Langkawi is famous with its Laksa Kedah,Nasi gulai kawah, pulut panggang ,colourful drinks and lots more! You can get cheap things like local fruits(durian, chempedak, rambutan ,manggis, etc) clothings, sheets, groceries, raw seafood ,toys & souvenirs as well.Kuah night market are the best one to explore in this island because it has a big variety of everything local and it's always busy from both crowds of local & international tourists. Tips:Bring an umbrella just incase it rains because there are no roofs here only stalls cordoned on a long public road.

We enjoyed roaming around. The smell of food here is tempting. We tried beef steak, chicken satay (cost RM0.50 each) and beef satay (cost RM 1 each), different finger foods (which my friend didn't like) and of course, kelapa and milo ice. Both are sweet and good! Many people are visiting - they're not only selling food but souvenirs as well. Though not sure if it is cheaper. Near only. :)

Its typical night market in malaysia; but because its close to the border; you have mix of thai and malaysian cuisine. it was durian season when i visited. So a lot of durian with sticky rice options! Definitely recommended if you are in langkawi for a visit.

If you are visiting langkawi Island, then you MUST visit the Kuah Pasar Malam (Night Market) which takes place twice a week, Wed and Sat. The best time to visit is around 6.00 PM, just before sunset when everything is fresh and nice. There are easily around 200 stalls that line up one long street in Kuah, and if you ask any local about the Kuah Pasar Malam, they will tell you where it is. Apparently, they are some other night markets located on Langkawi, but the one in Kuah is still the best one. You will find around 80% local food which is awesome! And about 20% of clothes, shoes and other items sold here. Here's some advice, go there and buy some local food to try as it will be one interesting gastronomical experience for you! The night market starts at about 5.00 PM till about 11.00 PM.

I definitely piled on a few pounds visiting this market. The food was delicious. Such a vibrant atmosphere. The locals told me that the night market held in the city centre of Langkawi called Kuah is the best one. So naturally as a foodie I decided to show up to Kuah. From the satay to the traditional pancakes soaked in nutella, the ice cream mango milkshakes and fried samosas..it was all mouth watering. Highly recommend you just check out the atmosphere if nothing else.

Definitely worth a visit if you are around the area. We stayed at goldsands hotel hence the market is only a 1 min walk away. There are many options avail and you can just order a little of everything for dinner ! My dad tried the grill lamb and it's really good ! This is more like a local food market, nothing much to buy if you are looking forward to get some souvenirs here.
