★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OTW back after sending our 4th child at UTHM, Parit Raja, my wife usually stop at one of the fruit stall to buy 'Pisang Lilin'. You can also get Johore's SMI products like banana chips, cookies, pisang salai etc. The prices are moderate and some can be bargain further if you know the techniques. The operator can easily recognise outsiders(visitors) from the locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually was a settlement "kampung" that grow into a huge community of javanese descendant that can be trace back to 'tanah besar jawa'in Indonesia. Here you can get basic household equipment and daily food such as meat, fresh water fish and sayur-sayur kampung (vegetable) especially on weekly farmers market which is held twice weekly on Tuesday morning and Saturday evening.
