Old school mall with a Giant supermarket and other small shops in ground level and a MR DIY, Modern gym and a Bowling alley on 2nd level.

This mall needs more outlets . Parking is costly . Cold Storage should have more low price offers .

We were looking for a supermarket to shop for groceries and took a turn towards this mall after knowing from google map that there’s a giant supermarket here. Upon arriving, from the exterior of the mall, it looked pretty old but we still continued. There’s a car wash right after the entrance to the car park. There’s a durian stall right in front of the mall, near the parking lot as well. Pretty reasonable prices. The inside of the mall was really old and dated. We got our stuff and left after which.

Pelangi Leisure Mall used to be a rather fun and interesting place. Nowadays, all the stores that made it interesting and fun has closed down and moved away to other malls. Now the only thing keeping it going is the Giant hypermarket and the bowling alley. Such a shame, it could be much better.

The place is safe to visit, as they follow government SOP strictly. Still rather quiet, due to the pandemic. Update Jun 2022: Still on the quiet side, not many visitors.

Used to be my fav childhood place 30 years ago.. I thought we are supposed to move forward and improve. What a disappointment. Seems like Leisure mall doesn't think this way.. in fact not only leisure mall.. sentosa the store, the zon, holiday plaza etc all falling behind timeline.. the only few that has the slightest improvement is only pelangi and giant plentong.. sad that all I have are the memories these places onced gave me. Damn msia really desperate needs more fat pocketed investors to lift it up again and catch up with time. ):

This mall is pretty run down; it has not changed one bit since it opened, excluding the stalls that moved in and out. The standouts of this mall are the bowling alley and the Giant hypermarket (with rusty trolleys that are a little hard to push around corners). I'd only come here to buy cheap groceries and go since the parking is cheap at RM1 for the first three hours on a weekday.
