β β β β β Fish, prawns etc caught by fishermen are brought to this market, daily. Quite expensive ...but very fresh.

β β β β β Freshly caught seafood on sale here. This wholesaler gets their produce directly from the fisherman in this area.
There are several restaurant nearby where you can bring your freshly bought seafood and have them cook it for you.
Be sure to get there before 5pm. That's when they start closing

β β β β β Loved the smell of fresh fish when I visited this small fishing village on the south west corner of Pulau Penang (north of Malaysia). The prices were reasonable and the fish was so fresh! We also visited a famous laksa place on the way back. I am not a big fan of laksa but it worth trying.
