A beautiful place to visit at night. But get there early, at least an hour before sunset, so you can take in the coastline during the golden hour. Get some great photos during this time. Enjoy the sculpture park on the beach after entering the temple gates. View the sentry buildings from WWII. You can access the area through the temple gates or walk along the beach from near Tesco. If you need to drive there be aware that you will be paying a parking toll, completely unofficial, of about 5 ringgit that you can avoid on principal by walking from nearby locations such as Tesco. Love the atmosphere as the sun disappears and the Avatar Gardens come into life.

Went there during daytime so not much to see. Luckily a beach is nearby so we just enjoyed the scenery. The location is very far so I recommend to go there at night to enjoy avatar secret garden.. else you will end up enjoying the beach - like what happened to me. Going back for sure next time but during night time :P.

This is a wonderful place to go any time. We have been here several times during the day. It has a cute little beach area, and the gardens are very cute. Our favorite thing to do is sit in the swings by the ocean and enjoy the nice breeze that cools you off in the shade. Only down side is that the beach is a bit littered with trash. Still a very nice place none the less. We have heard it is very beautiful at night, but have only been here in the day so far.

RM1 for entrance fee. Better to go there not earlier than 7pm. If early, still have sun light and can't see those all LED light. Or if you can earlier, you can see sunset by the beach then go to the garden.

For RM3 parking and free admission I can't complain. Colorful illuminated garden like the movie Avatar. The place is small and with some mosquito too. Need a steady pair of hands to take photos. Bring a tripod!

The scenery at night and noon has its own advantages. It is a wonderful place. A symbolic location made beautiful by an uncommon care of the landscape and, somewhere, of good respect to nature. A Good place for locals to travel. This is one of the places where you can enjoy and relax yourself. Lack of parking lot.

Lovely location that is now run down and many of the stairs rotten. But lovely see views and fascinating sculptures

It used to be nice. The lights aren't as nice as the first few times of my visits. But it started to lack of maintenance and people are collecting fee on behalf of “temple” as some kind of “donation” Anyway it is just RM1 if I’m not mistaken, so it’s still fine.
