★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grand old dame of Penang. Both the Town Hall & City Hall are impressive tourist attractions in the Esplanade area.
The majestic colonial buildings have been featured in a number of local & foreign movies and never fail to provide a great backdrop for snapshots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located within the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site and overlooking the Padang, this building is yet another must visit. Completed in 1903 by the British. Unfortunately, it was undergoing renovation work when we visited. The frontage however is still quite a majestic sight.
