Favourite place to do work and study. But, sometimes got annoyed at how it closes randomly someday. I went there today and the gate is closed because it is under maintenance, at least update it on their website. The websites says it’s open but closed irl.

Well I have been to multiple library, with the following ranking IMHO: 1. National library 2. IIUM Dar Al-hikmah library (Gombak) 3. Kuala Lumpur library 4. Raja Zarith Al Sofiah library (Skudai) 5. Sultanah Zanariah library (Semarak) 6. Seberang Jaya library 7. Kulim library The library infrastructure is good (spaces, parking lot, WiFi, catalogue search terminal) but lacking books. Some genre such as in my field of software engineering, the books is too outdated to be in the library (old software books, dated programming language). The largest book collection is the English fiction (Cornwell, Crichton, Grisham, King etc) with majority are unknown authors. So don't get your hope high on reading popular modern English fiction books. Would be better if they expand the empty spaces or the football display with higher capacity book shelves. Another thing, there are no enforcement of etiquette when I was there... There's an old man listening to phone speaker while reading at the ground floor ?. The first floor is quieter as it's hosts the legal/law and reference section, perfect for student studying area. I would say this library is generally catered for children and young adults to encourage reading habits. Once you enjoy reading as a habit, better head to project Gutenberg for free eBook or buy from other digital publisher such as Google book, Amazon Kindle, Humble bundle and start your own digital library.

It has a lot to offer. With just RM2/ year for the fees and RM5/year for family fees. Really cheap but can benefit A LOT. Can't believe it has 3D printer in makerspace, nice landscape, robotic class, animation studio for kids. It such a WAOOOWWW. The service just up to Singapore standard

Quite a nice place for reading as multiple kinds of books and reading materials can be found here! Actually my youngest son brought me here. The facilities are well-equipped with comfortable seats, lit-corridors between racks, a spacious room for children with all types and sizes of books, tablets etc. It's been a long time never step in long before COVID-19... Not crowded at all because nowadays people hanging around at Sunway Carnival Mall because it's Saturday afternoon!

Ada playground cantik, instagrammable worthy spots bersepah keliling library. Well maintained ??????. Toilet bersih dan kering, thanks to the visitors as well. But we only went to kids' corner or should I say department. There's a room for board games and expensive toys that needed to be scanned before you could play with for RM12/year. A pretend play corner for RM2/year. 360 Xbox & playstation room for RM2/hour. Tablet. Mini pingpong table, table pool, mini basketball in the middle of the library that you could play with for free. ? What a place. Today, we went there for more than 4 hours. Already worth all the money paid for a year. ?

A very conducive place to do work individually or in a group. Lots of interesting reference books for students and adults as well. To borrow books, you need to pay RM2 annually to be a member, only using IC (no need library card like old days). Only can borrow books from lower floor. You can also photocopy the books there. Suitable for both children and adults as there are lower and upper floors. The staff are very helpful. kudos to the staff there for keeping everything clean and under control. Will definitely make constant visits here.
