โ โ โ โ โ There is an indian food stall run by a Chinese family. Excellent fish curry. Portions are good. Nothing too much or too little. You have to wait patiently because they have loads of customers - good things especially food doesn't come that fast in Penang. Tip - the longer the queue/wait, the more delicious it is.

โ โ โ โ โ Loved the Indian food stall. Everything there has the perfect blend of spices. The drinks stall has the most charming hostess. Too bad we were there pre-CNY holidays where most stalls were closed. But we were delighted to find such a gem of a shop that serves incredibly delicious Indian food. The lamb beriani is a must try. The fish curry is superb. Service is very good.

For what it's worth, the Indian food here (which I've tried on a different occasion) tastes like a warm homecooked meal from your friend's pati's (grandma's) kitchen; you won't be disappointed.
Some of the neighboring stalls in this area (like the fish head curry one) sell out early so get here by 7pm to maximise your options if you're doing a shared/progressive dinner!
Dessert and drinks stay open till 9ish so you can move on to that afterwards.
Great neighborhood feel. Tables are spaced well apart and the open night air feels great.

โ โ โ โ โ The chicken curry briyani and lamb curry briyani are really delicious ? I love it so much especially the lamb is really soft and easy to bite ? This is a must to try!
