★ ★ ★ ★ ★ PERNAMA used to be known as NAAFI (Navy, Army, Air Force Institute) which was set up to sell goods to servicemen and their families. PERNAMA Sungai Besi is nothing to shout about. You get ordinary groceries, electrical and electronic gadgets here. At one time they used to be competitive and sold duty free gadgets, but today you would probably get better deals outside. They main attraction perhaps is that it offers goods on credit to servicemen. For non-Muslims, they could purchase their monthly ration of duty-free beers and stouts.
