在怀旧的文化馆吃点心,别有滋味。旧时光的保温壶,大大的洗脸盘,吃的是情怀也是童年的回忆。

This local small village house was converted to a little museum last time, and it had been turned to a restaurant probably around last two months. The foods here are mainly Dim Sum, and they are delicious. The prices of the foods are reasonable, and I hope that the owner of this restaurant can maintain such affordable prices. The inner design of this restaurant is 60-70s’ atmosphere, so I strongly recommend this restaurant.

This small new village house in Jenjarom was previously converted into Heritage Hall, it has become a quaint restaurant for the first two months or so. I took pictures of the entire menu so anyone who wants to come knows what kind of food it sells. I want the owner to keep the price of the food as affordable as possible. The decor inside the store is in the style of the 60s and 70s. I highly recommend everyone to visit and taste the food here.

This is two-story building was formerly a Teacher's house and now it is a cultural centre featuring Malaysian Chinese Village décor & historical items. Previously it houses a vegetarian restaurant but now it houses a Dim Sum Restaurant. The signature Teochew Mai & Vietnam Roll Smoke Duck is saltish and the smoke duck doesn’t have the smoked flavour. The Purple Sweet Potato Bun is nice & Char Siew Bao is average. Its Peach Glum Dessert is not the tasty type but healthy type that carries a sharp non tasty flavour. Only the Ground Floor is open to public and there are some books here for reading as well.

The environment is good, and the food is amazingly great, served hot and fast. The pastry is baked fresh from the oven. It’s not too crowded during a long public holiday weekend, and the waiters / waitresses are very attentive. Overall it’s a pleasant experience to dine in.
