★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of Non-profit Organizations (NGO) around in Bandar Baru Bangi. According to their website they have 18 branches locally and 4 internationally with 5000 registered members and 380 active volunteers. The NGO was founded in 1988.
Lots of charity activities, seminar, talks and fund-raising activities for the orphanage, refugees, needy locally and internationally such as Gaza Palestine, Syria and Myanmar.
The NGK also organizes Qurbani (Udhiyah) programs at very reasonable price. The money would be channeled to buy meats to feed the poor, refugees, orphans etc.
Qurbani or Udhiyah in Arabic is the sacrifice of an animal during the period of Eid ul Adha for the pleasure of Allah (swt).
The qurbani takes place on Eid Ul Adha, which marks the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage We celebrate by honouring the tradition of the Prophet Ibrahim (Alahi Salaam) by sacrificing an animal and distributing the meat to those in need.
