S	Syed Izuan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long journey by road from KL during the Raya break, you can only expect a good night rest at a 5 star rated resort. However, I must say that the stay was utterly disappointing & extremely frustrating. After a welcoming hot shower, we thought a sleep is the most logical course of action. Since we stayed on the ground floor, we hear thundering footsteps from above. Mind you, the place is made almost entirely by wood. We can't help but to hear noises and again non stop footsteps from above almost thru out the night. Pretty deafening. And to top it all up, the WiFi is so poor or almost non existent & there were hardly any mobile signal.....there goes the match Liverpool later
V	Vinodh Selvarajoo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where do I start? Rooms were clean but we were not given the requested room. Spa and gym were not available and they didn’t even mention this to the customers. There’s literally nothing to do here apart from the nature ambience. Breakfast was laughable, only some free flow low quality items and ala carte food which took forever to arrive. The only good thing here is the polite buggy drivers. Please don’t come here. For the money you’re paying, the services are terrible. If you really don’t know what to do with extra bucks, go to Genting and gamble.
K	Kevin W Chan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Philea Resort: What we loved is their Restaurant Service – especially under the supervision of Ms Anna – she cooked very authentic Penang Style Street Food – we loved the Prawn Noodle, Curry Laksa, Char Kuey Teow, and their Cendol & Ice Kacang! Loved it! Ms Anna and the front counter staff are all very friendly! Very Helpful. Especially Front Counter Staff Cik Aishah (I hope the spelling is correct). Very friendly, very helpful. All the Buggy Drivers and Bellboys are excellent in service! Even the Pool Attendant is very friendly and helpful and very accommodating! He helped to monitor our belongings while we went back to the Villa to pick up something! Yes – the Spa, the Gym and other restaurants might not be ready yet – after the COVID Pandemic, MCO and recent big flood in Dec-2021! But the pool is excellent – we love the pool colour, the base of the pool (stones and sand) – very natural! Really enjoyed the time! Minus Points: There are some parts of the Villas need refurbishments. Example – our Villa’s fan not working, but in view that the air-con is 3-HP and cool enough, we just compromised on the fan. Most important point: If you are light sleeper – easy to be disturbed by noise – try to AVOID downstairs room/villa – as it is built by Log Cabin, so even a slight movement of other tenants might create noise – imagine if your upstairs guests are active children, then you’ll be hearing noises and their foot steps all night long!
B	Boumi Wu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relaxing place for a day or two. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, bathroom with bathtub, however balcony floor is dirty and got ants. (Maybe near forest) Buggy service to send you to room & tour around. Swimming pool is clean, towels and life buoy available. Online booking is somehow misleading. Each villa comes with 3 rooms & 1 living hall. if you book 1 room only, it means to share one of the rooms in the villa with others. The building is made by wood. (Fire extinguisher at every villa). If kids running on the upper floor, you can hear the noise clearly on the lower floor. Breakfast only can select 1 option on the menu. They insist you to provide breakfast coupon upon entry. near the toll but far from town, about 40mins drive. Can try here if you are a nature person.

Most of hotel amenities are not available, gym closed, pools are not well maintained - bottom of the pool is full with mold and mildew and worst yet is the hotel breakfast! There were no buffet, only 1 meal per pax but the meal is so not worth the money! We stayed in a villa with 3 bedrooms and 1 hall/lounge. Sadly only 2 toilet bidets were functioning. Others not to avail. Should consider re-rating this hotel until they amp up their game. As for now, 2 stars are good enough (although there are other 2 stars hotel with better services than here)
A	Alesha Nazrin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place seemed not properly maintained. Bathtub was rather in bad shape, can tell by the moment you step in. Toilet seat still had a used ‘sanitized’ sticker from previously when sops were strict, but hasn’t been removed. Stayed on the top floor and could hear our neighbor’s voices and their kids’ running back and forth. Assuming this is due to the material of the walls of the rooms. Breakfast was disappointing (as per picture, sambal was no we’re close to a fair helping). Overall, it was not worth the price paid. For a 5 star price tag, was expecting much better. Don’t think I’ll be coming back.
u	umar aziz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is unique with beautiful facade and nature. Facilities are closed except for the pool. If u have asthma or are susceptible to asthma attacks i suggest u run as far away from this place as possible. All the rooms are decorated with hemp rope/tali guni (explains the musty and weird smell) which gives off fine dust which may or may not trigger asthma attacks. 1 night was enough to give me breathing difficulties. Was it worth the price that was paid? Probably not.
V	Venkates Sivaraman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bottom 2 room will have noise from the room above if the occupants above keep walking or kid’s running around can’t sleep and too noisy. Overall, it's a nice resort with lots of green and nature. No buffet breakfast, but all carte breakfast only. Overall mine relax place and enjoy the scenery. Didn’t expect what we wanted. For couples or newly married don’t take bottom room because no privacy n too noisy walking steps.
