★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate this service centre. It doesn't achieve the standard we expected. I brought my steam iron to this centre because it spurts water through the iron plate.
I told the staff not to replace the hose because it can still be use. I also informed them to call me first if they need to proceed with any repairing process. I waited for their call but they didn't call me at all to explain the faulty. Then, I call them many times but they didn't answer and rejected my calls.
They proceeded the repairing process without customer's consent.
Customer should be informed first if the cost of the repairs is high. At least the customer will have chance to either proceed with repairing process or buying a new one.
They replaced some parts of the steam iron which is still good in condition and charge us at high price. They done it without our permission. At the end, we, the customer need to pay for the action done by the technician in which we didn't asked for.
I felt like I am being lied about the damage of my steam iron. Please bear in mind that the customers are not as fool as what you thought. We are engineers. We are technicians and we know that every single machine that is use to check the condition of appliances do print out results / reports saying whether it is damage.
Plus, the repairing process is too long, about 2 months.
A lot of misscommunication happened only because the staff at the front counter is a very old woman, which is believed to be the mother of the in-charge technician. The old woman is unable to communicate well in both English and Malay.
Besides, the condition of the front counter is not professional and not systematic. A lot of appliances and boxes full of things is being put in front of the front counter making it looks so unorganized. I supposed the front counter should be neat and systematic because Philips is an international brand.
Really hope that the higher party of this brand take further actions upon this matter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Service center I have seen ever in my life in Malaysia. Promised to fix my Philips iron steam within 1 month. I have paid RM 150 in advance. After I month when called still ask for another 15 days to fix. After 3 months I called again as I went away overseas now I got answer from service center now only they will start fixing require another few days. How inconvenience for customer after pay 1700 for item and pay repair some how RM 150 item is not available for use. Disgusting
