Small museum. We decided not to go into the museum but to explore the outer part of the building. There was a small farm behind the museum which grows different types of pineapple plants. Unfortunately, it seems like an abandoned farm. Nothing much to see... but we had fun taking photos at the backyard which has some nice wooden windows and fences.

Twice I have visited here & according to website it is open. But both times closed. Security said 'maybe' open tomorrow,,,,,, I asked yes or no open next day? Maybe is best answer I can get. Not really helpfull if a museum doesn't open.

I really enjoy this place, I learn about this tropical fruit and they have a small plantation at the back so you can see how the Pineapple grow up :)

Forget about this place. A museum is meant to depict the stories best assigned to history. Quintessentially, a public project; allocated a bundle to build but left to rot without follow-up maintenance. There is nothing to see nor learn here, even if the gate is open. Proceed to the surrounding farms and talk to the farmers who toil the lands. You get to learn more about the pineapple industry and the real issues faced by them.

Being here for almost 3 hours, the tour guide En. Zakaria was good in his explanation regarding to the history of pineapple in Malaysia, but the rooms are not in good condition due to lack of maintenance, quite dusty. Entrance fee is RM2.00/person.

The Museum has been closed for the past 2 years due to Covid. Unfortunately, no signs anywhere online or in site to notify visitors of this. In the past 2 years that it has been empty, it has not been maintained and the beautiful building is weathering badly. Hope they will do something to maintain the building and out houses and reopen it soon. I visited the museum on Friday, 11 March 2022
