★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated at 160 Main Road, Yong Peng. It's located in front of Mr DIY which is a yellow building. Just behind this row of shop houses is Hotel 29.
Especially good is the sea cucumber and fish maw braised with mushroom and vegetables. The Fuchow meatball is also pretty good. A must have in a Fuchow restaurant is the meat stuffed fish ball in soup. However I wouldn't go for the KL style fried noodles.
If you're having a meal during the day, make sure to have the cendol on the street corner on the left as you leave the shop.

Teppan tofu was nice
Garlic Choy tam was below average.
Brinjal hock chew was nice
Fish balls were nice and springy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a greedy person took advantage of the many travellers that were stuck in Yong Peng during the 3rd day of CNY. We had stopped for a supper and ordered some noodles, sweet and sour pork and plain vegetables. Not knowing that the hike in price for 3 dishes costing RM 66.40 . The absorbent price hike clearly indicates the bad behaviour of this restaurant. RM 15 for the noodles was right but RM 25 for the pork and RM 20.00 for the plain vegetables was too expensive. We were not the only ones that complained as several patrons just shook their heads with disgust. Don't ever enter this place without asking the price if not you be slaughtered. Local authorities should also check the licenses and tax departments also check on the reported yearly tax that they declare.

We order kuey tiow n mee hoon fried with 3chinese tea n a milo.
Its took almost 40min to prepare
N there is only 1 table with a family occupied that completing their dinner.
There is no other customers.
So they are preparing only for us.
But food was nice

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 adults missed their dinner during business travel. We reached Yong Peng around 8:30pm. Not many variety for dinner during that time, as some of the restaurants closed for business on Thursday.
After 2 rounds of driving along the Main Street, we set our eyes on this restaurant, as we noticed mainly local patrons to this restaurant and we wanted authentic local food.
Good try! The lady boss recommended their meat roll & Hock Chew noodles to us. And we added vege and Hock Chew fish balls(fish balls with meat filling) for our late dinner.
All dishes were delicious and we will come again if passing by. Only thing is, they close for business as and when necessary. So, really have to try our luck on their availability.
