★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Makanan yang enak dan berpatutan. Menempah ikan ketuka yang rasanya sesuai dimakan untuk lima orang bersama dengan tomyam ayam untuk dua orang makan, telur dadar, dua pinggan nasi dan sambal serta ulam-ulaman dan air dengan harga cuma RM51.
Ikan bakar berempahnya sangat sedap. Rempahnya seimbang dengan rasa yang tidak terlalu manis. Masa menunggu agak lama pada mulanya, tetapi merasakan bahawa rasa rempah menyerap masuk ke dalam isi ikan, membuatkan kami yakin bahawa itulah sebab di sebalik masa penyediaan yang lama.
Walau bagaimanapun, keadaan selepas hujan ketika lawatan kami telah mengundang jumlah lalat yang sangat banyak dan agak ralat apabila tiada usaha dilakukan oleh tuan kedai untuk mengurangkan jumlah lalat berkenaan mahupun pernyataan maaf yang ringkas berkenaan keadaan tersebut. Ditambah pula bau persekitaran seperti bau najis lembu juga menganggu selera.
Tetapi, itu tidak menghalang kami dari memuji kualiti dan rasa masakannya yang sedap dan berbaloi.
Delicious and affordable food. Ordered ketuka fish that tastes good for five people along with chicken tomyam for two people, omelet, two plates of rice and sambal as well as side dishes and water for only RM51.
The spicy grilled fish is very tasty. The spices are balanced with a taste that is not too sweet. The waiting time was a bit long at first, but feeling that the spice flavor soaked into the fish filling, convinced us that that was the reason behind the long preparation time.
However, the situation after the rain during our visit had invited a very large number of flies and quite an error when no effort was made by the shop owner to reduce the number of flies nor a brief apology regarding the situation. In addition, the smell of the environment such as the smell of cow dung also disturbs the appetite.
But, that didn’t stop us from praising the quality and taste of its delicious and worthwhile cuisine.
