★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not suitable for student doesn't have own transport but there's a taxi and van service for student. Nearest shopping mall Yawata, Tesco, Aneka, Jitra Mall. So many restaurant and convience store nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its because the food at the cantin are very expensive that there are some student can't afford to buy..plus..some student report that the food are not healthy and not be taken care of such as its clean..other than that..their place are not in good condition cuz there are toilet that in not good condition and uncomfortable for students and other people to use it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gotta say something about the lectures is polimas...some of them are ok with students...some of them really dont respect students...Im just gonna put one name on here...this is the name of a lecturer that have a bad attitude toward students....Nurzaliza....I wish to move her out of polimas....she's a toxic lecturer....do something about it polimas...

Yes most of the lecturers have disrespectful and racist towards students include myself until i dropped & failed course in end 2014. Only some of the lecturers are good. Even some of the students are toxic. One of the worst polytechnic in Malaysia i studied..sorry to offend however this is the sad truth. Not suitable for those students without own transportation especially from low income family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Politeknik Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah is the main politechnic at Kedah. The campus is located on an area of 28 hectares in the district of Kubang Pasu. It was first used on 14 March 1987 and was officially opened on 23 March 1989 by DYMM Tuanku Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah, Sultan of Kedah at that time. From this date, the name of this polytechnic was changed to Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Polytechnic, in conjunction with his name. they close down Alor Setar branch and opened at Jitra Kedah. This politechnic served Diploma program/course such as, Civil, Accountancy, Publicity, Mechatronic, Mechanical, IT, Electric, Town Planner and Material and Resource (Can look at the picture shared)

I was here for my sister in-law registration for the 2nd batch, She was under Civil Course under Town Planning, Politechnic is the selected few for her course. The cafeteria by Cik ABCafe has served great food and suprisingly cheap. RM6 for a rice meal with soy sauce beef, egg sauce and teh tarik. The nearby town is Jitra town, if the student have outing, they can goto nearest grocery store such as Yawata, Lotus (Tesco) CM2 and others. when sem break take place, the student can go to Kuala Perlis and go to Langkawi Island for a short vacay.
