★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popiah Perling is a legendary stall - they have been selling here for a very long time - at least since the 90s. Their namesake comes from their “Popiah Basah” or Wet Popiah - you must try this! Their Popiah Basah comes in a set of 5. They used to make it on the spot on request, but now it is ready packed.
Their Popiah Basah is spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. You can request for more chilli, and they will give you a packet of chilli for you to dip your popiah in.
They have other dishes such as Fried Popiah, Curry Puff, and many more. But in my opinion, you must get their Potato & Egg Curry Puff (with some chicken meat too), as well as their Popiah Basah. You won’t be disappointed.
