★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long history with the boss Mr. Lim. First encounter with him was when I first imported my car into KL from UK. During the Puspakom inspection, they couldn't find the engine number for registration. Without that, car cannot be formally registered. Sent the car to Mr Lim, and he agreed to help find it, which required some work, including dismentsling some engine parts for access to the number. Eventually got the number and registered the car successfully. And amazingly, after all the work, he did not even charge me a single sen! Just told me to consider sending the car to him for service once I have sorted the car with JPJ.
Since then, have been sending the car, and happy with their service. Mr Lim and team (esp. Mr. Han too) is very approachable and humble. Always responds to customers messages promptly and is willing to take suggestions from customers. I believe a good repairmen is just like a good doctor. It's not just about skill and technology. Equally important is the willingness to listen earnestly to the patient so as to arrive at the correct diagnosis, but willing to consider other diagnoses with more revelation or sharing from the patient is key to treating the disease. I think if Mr Lim is a doctor, he would make a lovely one! For now, send your sick cars to this good honest 'doctor'.
