Food is very basic and normal. Nothing extraordinary. Chef is not Thai, they are Myanmars.

Roomy Thai steamboat joint that does regular Thai dishes, albeit somewhat subpar. If you like spicy and mostly spicy, this place is for you. Dishes were suitably spicy but not well balanced - the tomyum was relatively insipid and the somtam was heavy on the sourness. Service was reasonable, but morale appears to be low and the place is open late but quite unoccupied. On the plus side, the manager was nice enough to give us a complimentary fried pancake, which was easily the best dish of the lot. Probably a decent place to chill and have a few drinks, but food needs a little improving. It's all outdoors so try to sit near a fan. Pricing is acceptable but pushing upwards.

Most probably they had read all the reviews over here previously regarding about the stuffiness inside the shop when you are having your mookata. Because when I went to take away at their place today it was cooling and had a number of fans already. Hahaha! But, I really think that the portion of the food needs to be more or improve as you are charging at almost a premium price just for a very basic tomyam soup, egg and rice. Round off to 17 bucks per meal. Being very honest here, as I see many reviews are all on their mookata. Not sure about that. But for a set lunch, 17 bucks? I'm OK with the price.. but I didn't expect that it was a very basic tomyam. Basic tomyam which means only tomyam soup, alot of mushrooms and 3 small prawns. And yes that's all. Lol! And I wasn't wowed by the taste too. I mean for that price there are much more better Thai food here in Penang. I will not recommend to those that is looking for Thai chu char. Mookata I'm not sure. Moo ping was good.

Tomyam clear soup is average. Fish fried n served in source with sweet corn. Average. Kerabu mango is a flop. Ambient is poor; run down n unorganised. Cleanliness is not ideal. Price. Under RM150 for 2 for the 3 food items is pricey. Overall: not recommended.
