★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chanced by this place and was attracted by the pictures of the various cuts of meats. Slightly different from the previous reviews, the place is selling meat cuts and will cook them for u. Alas when we reached there were not much options left for the beef cuts hence we settled for grilled salmon and fish & chips.
The food quality is definitely good, one of the better tasting fish and chips I had in some time. The salmon was also well grilled.
The gripe we had was with the service. It took over half an hour for our orders to come even though the place was only half filled. When we enquired, they told us things like the fish was too thick and need more time to cook. It was a good 15 mins before we asked again, when they again told us the fish was still being cooked! But suddenly the waitress came back and served the salmon. Apparently they have a Super fast cooker.
They also served a dish of fries to us wrongly, we took it thinking that it was the sides for our mains. Upon realisation that they served us wrongly, they came and asked if they could charge the fries to us! Luckily we were assertive and subsequently they removed the fries that’s on our mains instead.
Good food that I would want to return for but hesitant over the sporadically bad service.
