โ โ โ โ โ I purchased an Audi TTRS (advertised as 2011 model) from Prominent in August. I found out later that it is actually a 2008 model. I bought my Audi for RM88,500 plus road tax, insurance etc. I was not given the insurance papers when I took possession of the car and received them after requesting they send them. I found when I received the papers, the car was only insured for RM66,000. I was not told about the insurance when I was at the showroom and only found out by reading the policy myself. I have been in contact with Prominent for several weeks trying to get this problem resolved and the final outcome was: a. I received refund of the additional insurance I had paid and they managed to get the insurance value to Rm67,000. They did offer to buy the car back but by this time I had spent almost RM20,000 on repairs and upgrades to sound system, dashcam and front sensors. This money I would lose so I will not sell the car back. If I had known the car was a 2008 model and not a 2011 model I would have negotiated the price or not bought the car. Billy has been very active in trying to resolve the situation and I am as satisfied with the outcome as I can be.
