β β β β β Its a very renown wet market around KL city. Started from 4am and operate till 12PM. you will find all sorts of vegetables, fish, grocery items both wholesale & retail price.

There is one pork seller manner by a mother and daughter out the entrance-do not buy from them! the modus operandi is
1. you asked for rm5 pork;
2. mother will say ok and proceed to cut;
3. later the daughter will charge always an extra ringgit, reason being,"oh, unable to weigh accurately(!!!)"
vegetables not fresh, seafood not fresh, the taufu is now very bad(previously no)
overall better go to Chow Kit market

β β β β β It's an experience . It has variety with a much greater Chinese influence then most but still very much a poor relative to other wet markets in KL.
Can get raw and cooked pork, and see more ducks.
Still wet and smelly and not very cheap.

β β β β β Let's be honest, if you're looking for a clean, orderly, hygienic, comfy, air-conditioned environment to do your grocery shopping, then this is not for you.
But if you're looking for the experience of grocery shopping the way it's been done for decades since the 60s, there are none more authentic than the oldest surviving wet market in KL. It's a place where abundance of ultra fresh produce meets super affordable prices. It's a place where traders banter and patrons haggle with no hard feelings. It's a place where traders and regulars look out for each other.
And at the heart of the chaos, filth, stench and the cacophony of livestock and humans shouting to be heard, is the heritage and warmth of a local community that has stood the test of time. And one that remains true to its roots throughout its generational changes.
