Great place to hike! However be weary of mosquitoes throughout the whole hike.

Tbh, I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. It was doable even for me, someone who is not a fan of hiking and falls down easily. Start: The trail starts off as a downward trail. Going downhill is something I dislike a lot. It's marked out clearly as a path and certain parts on the inner part does not have a clearly marked out trail but it has signs and you just have to follow the arrows. Directions: You go in one way and at a certain point, you will reach a fork in the road where you can go right or left.. it doesn't really matter because it's a circle. We went left and hiked for a good 30mins before reaching the fork in the road again and went back the way we came. Comments: It's quite a dense trail I'd say, at certain parts of it I can only hear the monkeys rustling above me and cannot hear the construction that is going on near the road. Advice: I would advise against going alone because there are a lot of roots on the trail and one can easily fall and twist their ankle. TL;DR Don't go alone, it's forest trail and not hard. Certain parts are steep though!

Amazing 20-30 min jungle trail. Pls don’t take any plants from the jungle, they are part of the food chain for fauna.

MOSQUITOES MOSQUITOES MOSQUITOES!! Other than that everything is just perfect! Pulai trail is about 480 metres long and is located off Jalan Negeri Sembilan. The trail is unpaved and the entrance is located next to the huge Pulai tree, hence, the trail name. The trail will take about 30-40 minutes to complete. Here you can see regenerating forest, remnants of a rubber plantation, palm forest and a flat valley with herbaceous undergrowth. The trail joins the Jungle Fowl Trail via a challenging steep embankment. Faint-hearted is not advisable to go up the steep embankment. Free Tree Society has been actively maintaining the trail, accessible from the adjacent neighbourhood of Bangsar, and our Bangsar Nursery, to encourage an appreciation for the potential of urban biodiversity and conservation. Recent surveys by the Urban Biodiversity Initiative (UBI) point to the presence of small wildlife such as insects (including fireflies and 11 species of butterflies), 10 taxa of spiders, insectivorous bats, and the four-lined tree frog – a species native to the Southeast Asian region.

Relatively easy and short hike. The trail took around 20-30 mins depending on how often you stop. Terrain difficulty is easy to moderate. First time hikers will enjoy this trail. There are a lot of mosquitoes to be prepared to spray yourself with mosquito repellent. Can park by the roadside at this waypoint or park by the Free Tree Society waypoint. Do be mindful not to block the residence entrance.
