β β β β β Marine fishes, corals... all reasonably priced. Limited stock but just enough to keep you satisfied for more. Condition of stock varies, so take your time and choose carefully.

β β β β β A marine aquarium shop in Kepong? Oh yeah, a marine LFS in Kepong! While it may not have the livestock / equipment stock of other high-end marine aquarium shops in the country, Pusat Akuarium Ikan Laut Utara does just fine with saltwater aquarium essentials, and if you are lucky, pick up some nice fish or a coral or two. Their display tank is what I love the most with a gorgeous Blue Tang among others. Just over 3km from my home, this is the absolute nearest destination for a marine hobbyist.
About their livestock:
Their marine livestock are somewhat limited. When I was there, they have a Clarkii Clownfish, Foxface Lo and a Sailfin Tang. The water quality could have been better but then again, these fishes are here temporarily. The fishes also don't look their best. Don't walk away just yet though, as I have had a friend who purchased a Tang from here, didn't look so well but after a solid 4-8 week QT period and then a few weeks in his display tank; it looked phenomenal. Again, LFS's tend to have moderate-to-dull looking specimens due to stress but fret not. Corals should be the same too; QT for at least 4 weeks once coral dip + acclimation is done, and check for any unwanted hitchikers during this time. They do have liverock too, some already having coralline algae all over, again QT liverock too. Do ensure QT for fish is a separate QT than coral/liverock QT.
Overall 4/5 for their livestock :-) Reasonably priced too.
About their equipment:
They have T5s, wavemakers, additives, fish food etc., basically the essentials. If you are looking for a brand new startup, it might pose a slight challenge but talk to the shopkeeper or the owner and he/she can definitely hook you up with what you want. I purchased wavemakers and some nets as well as test kits.
Overall 3.5/5 for their equipment :-) Reasonably priced too.
About this LFS in a nutshell:
It is a small fish store. From the outside it looks like you are stepping into a freshwater fish store but no. They do have freshwater livestock too, which is great. Definitely recommend those in this hobby to check this LFS out. At over 3 km and under 4km from home, this is a nice place to 'get some stuff' but not necessarily the 'go-to' place for all your marine hobby needs. Check it out! ^_^

β β β β β Staff was rude and being unwilling to assist customer. The shop claims itself as a marine fish shop, however, they are selling more freshwater species than marine species, marine livestocks are greatly limited.
