★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice place to train in deep water. The depth is 2m (olympic size). 1 pool for the diving and 1 outdoor pool about 1.5m depth but the length is only 25m. During weekdays usually quite. The place is quite isolated. The water is so cold. Surrounding is windy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ticket is cheap for swimmers. RM4/Adult. Rm2/Kid. The shower room should be improved, there is no direction to the changing room. Might be an exploring journey for newcomers and no door hook to your hang your bag/shirt in the shower box. Other than that it suffice in everyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was awesome place to go to swim, it was big ! There's three pools, one is only 1.45 m (outdoor) , there's also 2 m deep pool( indoor) and also 5 m deep pool (indoor+scuba) . U can learn swimming there. But the other 2 stars im not giving because of the dirty+wet exchange toilet for women, I guess nobody clean it up.. its so dirty, n not comfortable ?

However the restroom is not well maintained as in some door were missing & unable to lock.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is far from city.. you enjoy the paddy field view before arriving at this place. And this swimming complex is surrounded by a big piece of paddy field as well.
entrance fee is rather cheap RM4. water is quite clean, at least can see half the pool. The toilet on the other hand is NOT.. 90% of the male toilet doors are without a lock, and with a big hole at the door. no hook or whatsoever to hang towel / clothes...
i feel it deserves an upgrade, this place is a nice swimming place. i hope it's well maintained as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pusat Akuatik Kedah-The Kedah Aquatic Centre is located at Jalan Gunung Kerian,about 11km from Alor Setar, Kedah.
It was officially open in 2006
serves as a venue for swimming activities and other aquatic events.
It has 3 swimming pool:
1.A olympic size indoor pool
50mX25m (Depth 2m)
2. A diving indoor pool
25.5m x 25.5 m(Depth 5m)
3 A outdoor pool length 25 m(Depth 1.45m)
The Kedah Aquatic Center is
under the management
of Kedah State Stadium Corporation.
These swimming pools are open for public.Other than public it is also being used for coaching competitive athletic and for conducting swimming coaching courses etc
The diving pool is used for
springboards/platform diving and also scuba diving.
This place need more maintenance.
