★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was an English teacher here for the past few months. From my observation, the owner did not know how to manage the staff very well. There was no guidelines to teach the students and all of sudden when the MOE came, there were tons and piles of works needed to be done. After I have been burdened by the troublesome procedures, the most saddening part was the boss delayed my salary for few months and he did not provide me EPF scheme even after the confirmation of being a permanent staff. The teacher and staff are being underpaid here therefore there is no motivation to work hence resulting to high turnover rate. As people might know, high turnover may harm the company's productivity and quality of work. If skilled workers are often leaving, thus the worker population merely contains a high percentage of novices and it will affect the students' performance. You are required to work here from 8.30am until 6pm (monday-friday) and from 8.30 until 3pm (saturday). The working hours are freaking crazy given that you're only being paid for RM1500. Now, they only offer RM1200 for teacher's wage. It will definitely kill the teacher's motivation to work. Also, your opinions are taken for granted as the management sucks big time. He did not clearly communicate his strategic goals and merely told the staff to follow his "do as you're told" mentality. There was no training being given or observation being done to monitor the teacher's progress. You will be the lone ranger if you worked here.
