★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The workmanship of Uncle Lee is brilliant. I seldom trust mechanic and always troubleshoot my car problem according to service manual.
When i identified the cause of a problem, and it involved a lot of work, i will ask him to carry out the job.
Following are the jobs that he had done for my Proton Wira:
1. Top overhaul to solve oil consumption problem: replace valve seals, piston ring. previous oil consumption was ~1L/5000km. now, no oil consumption with 10W30. clocking 220k km.
2. replaced timing belt and water pump (routine every 80k km)
3. replaced clutch plate and oil seal (at flywheel side due to oil leak)
The charges is reasonable with this kind of good workmanship.
To summarize, he is a trustworthy mechanic that you can count on.
