★ ★ ★ ★ ★ a recently refurbished R&R stop with facilities including food stalls souvenir and local IKS products shop, toilet, surau and bank teller machine. the toilet is clean and spacious, the surau is airy with easy wudhu facilities. the eating area is air conditioned. the food varieties is good. there is also a kopitiam and ice cream shop. there is a small children play area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ TLDR: If you're super hungry grab a bite here, if not get a Pau and you'll be good for your trip.
Any stop or R&R you will get decent food, not saying it's bad but not the greatest experience you will get so keep that in mind.
Now, both north and south bound stops have one of the best Pau you will have. Beef, Kaya, Red Beans and Coconut are all delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My usual north-bound stop. Too early and nothing is open. But it's a good point to take a drive break if you don't fancy going over an hour of driving without a break. It's a good toilet break too but can easily get crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I forgot the name of the stall that sold this Mihun Soto in R&R Machap Utara. The soto was delicious and the begedil was tasty. The price was quite cheap at RM4.50, and additional begedil at RM 1.00.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try this tasty Mee Bandung by Shop Number 3 Sinar Selancar. The gravy was so tasty made with combination of blended herbs, prawns and groundnuts. At RM4.50 it was a bargain. Don't forget to add a piece of bergedil just for another RM1.00. A must try for those who stopped at this RnR before continuing their journey. PS: I am just a traveller not related to the shop owner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Going to KL by driving and rest at this rest area. Arrived 8am in the morning here. Most of the shops were still closed that early.
Food courts had 3 stalls opened. Bought nasi lemak and dine-in there. Well, it wasn't that good but it was enough to fill the stomach for the road.
