★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought fried prawn dumpling, steam fu chuk, siu mai and signature kai wor pau and char siu pau. Someone introduced kai wor pau but other than this bun nothing special except that it's slightly more expensive than other dim sum restaurants in this area. The signature kai wor bun is disappointing and expensive. There are more than a dozen dim sum restaurants in taynton n connaught. The only restaurant to name is kam shun dim sum but it's air conditioning and pricey but the dimsum is fresh and good. Therefore to sell high price I doubt this restaurant can survive unless truly fresh as we have too many dim sum restaurants to choose from. It is not that customers not willing to pay for high price but must be fresh and different

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered a fried carrot cake but it serves us a hard dried dish so we request to change. (By giving a chance) to local business but they serve back the same dish with heating up when we asked they said is new fried dishes. I wouldn't mind if you being honest and I rather take away. But being dishonest is the end for your customers relationship. Is my personal opinion, hope you change your attitude by loosing 1 family customers.

I decided to give another try (later) since the owner replied with responsibly answer. Please don't get me wrong, I don't want any compensation I wish your shop serves the best dim sum in the neighbourhood of cheras and being honestly with everyone fairly.
Everyone deserves a chance to change if you admits your mistakes. All the best to you and see you again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience. Room temperature dim sum. Extremely pricy. Its only the msg taste. Fried carrot cake was so dry and cold, the boss said its pre-made. The prawn dumpling skin is so thick. The fried dumpling were chewy and cold. The boss said, if we want the dimsum hot she charges extra. This is strange as dim sum is generally served steaming and hot.Will not go again. The shop opposite named Restaurant Seong Kee is better although not the best.

Environment good. Service good. Product ok. Price ok.
No harm to eat for those not too fussy about Dim Sum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The creator of GaiWoBao (literally chicken coop bun ?) has opened shop at Taman Connaught Cheras. This combination of 2 Dim Sum favourites (a bun stuffed with glutinous rice, chicken & barbecued pork cubes, mushrooms, onion) has caused quite a stir among foodies when debuted some 20 years ago. Dim Sum with a fusion touch, nice taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neighbourhood dim sum shop taste. Dont expect this shop as proper dim sum restaurant. Chee Cheong Fun is thick, porridge is bland, loh mai kai is normal. The Price are fair and restaurant is clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dim sum didn't taste as good, the custard in custard bun wasn't flowing, porridge is bland, and I personally do not like their lou mai gai.. would rate average for all other dim sum..
Crowded on a Sunday morning though..
