★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After the announcement of lifting the interstate travel restrictions which have been enforced due to pandemic, as Chinese the very first thing that struck our mind was to pay a visit to Genting Highlands and offer our prayers to Chin Swee Lord in the temple.
We set off from Puchong our home to Genting at 10 pm, the drive was a breeze and there isn’t any traffic or cars traveling up during this hour, but of course, you gotta secure yourself a room via Airbnb, Agoda, etc. We have got our lodging in Vista Residences and this is one of our fave stays while we are there in Genting, we discovered this ‘homestay gem’ previously while we stayed in GEO, accessibility is better than GEO, just located along the road, and it's easily spotted.
While you are there, check out (Restaurant Daily 366), look for Uncle. Yong; the man who cooks the best-mixed beef noodles, not only gotta try on to his pressured cooked beef tendon and his curry noodles too!!
This is a place which I could ask him to add on an additional portion of beef meats for us (Gotta pay him more lah) ?
Check out my beef tendon pictures for your reference, on how they look like. It is a fibrous band of tissue that muscle to the beef bone… from his the amount of collagen is simply crazy, and we are fans for that!!!
Simply put, that beef tendon tastes beefy and has just a tad mild beef flavor and a gelatinous texture, but it's full of depth with a mouthfeel similar to a pork belly... With Uncle. Yong recipes it’s a guaranteed deal for this simple yet delicious meal for beef lovers!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A simple coffee shop in permai with a great beef tendon and lamb noodle wan tan mee. Price is fair given the wholesome broth and tender tendon. Coffee is nice as well. Great service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great local food close to our hotel. The beef noodles are probably the most flavourful I have ever had. Rich and full of spices. Beef stewed to be melt in your mouth. Drinks also very "gao"!
