It is well ventilated location.
Plain water and ice is free, help yourself.
The boss is the cook.
He only serve 16 fish head plate per day.
Very nice person.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable price home cook food. You may say it's a restaurant and also a basement eateries. All food are steam, no fried or oily stuffs. Limited tables and limited choices of food. Quite crowded during lunchtime, advice to book earlier or be there earlier. Parking is a real problems, slot in any available space you could find. Closed around 3pm or earlier upon finished of available food for sale

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this restaurant is actually at the basement of a building, you will not able to see it just by passing by. you will have to get out of the car and search for it if you are going there for the first time. the foods here are fish and fish alone with some choice of vegi. of course you can top up with some eat but the cooking style here is only steam. the fish that we had was fresh but the flavor was more on the salty side. you might want to ask the boss to tone down a little on the salt if you cannot handle the blood pressure. nonetheless, the taste is ok but not something to die for. this is a restaurant to go if you are into white meats and not red meats. it is not air-conditioned, but it is quite windy nonetheless, so even during warm weather, it is still quite comfortable to have lunch there.

Price is reasonable. Fish is fresh and tasty. Been there many times, have yet to experience funky, strange or funny taste in the fish. Texture has been great too. The ShaoXing wine adds an extra flavour to the overall taste, if not too much is used. Might need to remind the boss to watch out for that, not too much rice wine that is. At least for the pregnant ladies, perhaps ?
Some MSG aftertaste detected, not too strong.
Other dishes have been quite good as well.
Very consistent in quality and taste.
Too bad they close by 3.00 pm latest.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK. Lou Tuck, is the chef name. this restaurant is a hidden from ground its located at the basement of his house u will need to scout for it patiently. Here they offer limited choices. But all dishes here are great. Strictly no oily fried wok stuff. All steamed foods. They hv authentic hakka pork, hakka salted chicken, steam chicken (the best), steam fish head (which is awesome) and occasionally he will have special dishes like grouper fish head, fresh steam prawn ? (that you need to ask on its availability) steam mince pork with salted fish (only on Wed & Saturday) the only downside about this place. It's difficult to get parking! Slot in ur car whenever there's an empty slot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place you have to try your luck if you go after 1pm. Food might sold out after that hour.
There is a small sign of '蒸鱼头（Steam fish head)' outside old house, and you have to find parking along the road side. After the sign, just walk down the side ramp and you will come to the basement that is where the restaurant is.
The Steam Fish Head which I personally think taste better than the one in Chan Sow Lin. The Steam Chicken with yellow skin and tougher meat that looks like Corn Fed Chicken, will be better if they put less of the soya sauce, cause the saltiness had overcome the sweetness of the chicken. Steam Salted Fish Pork Slice taste good too. Overall food are great, although it is on the basement, the place is clean and windy.
