★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food taste good overall. However, the fishes they served are not fresh as it taste bad. If no fish is ordered, t'was a pleasant meal after all. There are 2 shops for this restaurant, one with air-con while the other without.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to try the infamous Red Wine Mee Suah. Service was fast, I waited for about 15 minutes for the food. The waitress was attentive and came immediately when called.
What I don't like is there are flies inside the restaurant. It annoys the hell out of me. Also, the toilet is for both male and female, and it has nasty smell. Ugh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive selection of traditional Chinese Hakka and Teochew (Fuzhou) dishes. Personally loved the salted egg crispy squid (鹹蛋 炸sotong), home made signature beancurb with minced meat (家鄉豆腐), red wine meesua (紅酒米線) and yam cooked bacon slices (芋頭扣肉). Air conditioned and comfortable for large reunions.

Food tastes ok, place is clean. Service is prompt. Price is reasonable.

But - the owner must must must get rid of the flies. We spent the entire meal shooing off swarms of pesky flies. Really distracted from the enjoyment of the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food tasted good overall but expensive especially for the over charged fish which was less than a medium size. Have to shoo off the many flies hovering around the food. Hence, have to eat quickly instead of enjoying the family lunch.
